The Daikin RX12RMVJU9 Emura series mini split outdoor unit comes with a limited warranty that covers defective parts and workmanship. The warranty covers the compressor for up to ten years and other parts for one year from the date of purchase. The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable. In order to obtain warranty service, the unit must be installed by a licensed HVAC contractor and registered with Daikin within 60 days of installation. The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, accident, misuse, or neglect.
